# Filter mode

The **Filter Mode** allows you to filter which firewall rules are displayed based on the selected chain. When enabled, it defaults to the **INPUT** chain. By selecting the option located directly below **Chain**, you can switch between chains, with TShell automatically detecting and listing the chains available on your server.
